With courses from technical writing to graphic design, my undergraduate studies gave me a solid foundation in communicating both verbally and visually. I recently completed a Master of Fine Arts in user experience and interface design, extending my communication skills to the science of human-computer interactions and design for web and mobile devices.

My career as a designer began with free-lance projects, and I continue to enjoy creating things for friends, family and clients. Among the projects I've enjoyed most are a series of holiday greeting cards, a series of illustrated ads, t-shirts, websites, mobile apps and logos. My sweet spot is where creativity and problem-solving meet to face a good challenge.
My journey as a creative professional began in the world of publishing, where I worked my way up through the ranks from proofreader to managing editor. I learned a lot about concept development and project management at A Beka, in addition to the experience I gained as a writer. In the end, however, I realized that it was the design of the publications which interested me most, spurring me to change careers and pursue the one I have today.
